About Us
The Singer Car Club of Australia was formed in 1976 in Victoria to bring together owners of Singer vehicles and other persons with an interest in the Singer marque. Singer car clubs were subsequently formed in New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Each club runs as a separate entity due to history and different state regulations but there is close cooperation between the state clubs and the Victorian club has many members from around Australia.

In Victoria we run as an incorporated body (8428G) under state law. We are a registered 'Red Plate' club which means our Victorian members can access the Club Permit Scheme. The club is principally a one make club and the members are dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of the Singer marque. We are affiliated with the Association of Motoring Clubs (AOMC) and the Federation of Veteran, Vintage and Classic Car Clubs.
Members are kept in touch by our email newsletter Out and About in Victoria, and by the quarterly Singer Wheels magazine around Australia. We also hold a regular Natter Night on the first Tuesday of each month via Zoom at this stage. We hold regular events and trips here in Victoria, and on a national level bi-annual National Rallies are hosted by each state club in turn.
The most recent National Rally was held in 2023 in Goondiwindi and the next National Rally will be hosted by the South Australian club in Victor Harbor in April 2025. Members have access to the club’s stock of spare parts, and also the club library which has a variety of Singer related resources.
Overseas we are associated with Singer clubs in the UK, USA, Canada, France, Holland and New Zealand.
NATIONAL RALLY
Biannual Event for all Singers from around Australia
We hold a National Rally in the Easter period every second year. Each branch takes turns in hosting the event in their own state. This is a hugely popular biannual event. The 2023 Rally was in Goondiwindi after a hiatus driven by Covid 19. We look forward to the next National Rally which will be in Victor Harbor S.A. in the April period of 2025.
